It’s that time of year again when the whole city comes alive with festivities celebrating the holiday, the New Year and just the general spirit of giving and goodwill towards man. Evansville has events all over the town and the general Tri-State area that bring people together for joyous celebration.
All month long (12/6 – 12/22), A Miracle on 34th Street is being performed at the Civic Theatre on Fulton as a “Radio Play.” This adaptation from the original Lux Radio Broadcasting production is sure to WOW your children with amazement and stimulate their creative little minds.
Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 7th at 10am is also a great way to bring joy and inspiration into your child’s precious little mind. But if you really want to give your kids a reason to be amazed, then Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights is a perfect opportunity. It is going on now through the New Year, so make sure to drop by.
For those with eclectic spirit and taste, the Tri-State Art Guild “Winter Show” is a great way to spend an evening. It is actually going until March 1st, so be sure to stop by and take a look at the wonderful creations on display.
But the truth is, sometimes the holiday season is a little more than just for kids. We as adults need to get out and really spend a great evening with adults like ourselves, celebrate and just be merry. We encourage a lively and festive spirit but also encourage you to drink responsibility.
